My camera roll this week 💕
I’ve barely left the house, only for appointments. Spending this time to bond, establish feeding and to settle into life as a family of 5. And I’ve been napping a lot with the baby.
📚I wrote about this in all my books - in many cultures around the world it’s normal for mums to stay at home for 4-6 weeks, eat warming foods, rest and bond with their baby.
I’ve barely put Monroe down, she’s happiest on me and we’ve been co-sleeping from birth. Her fav feeding position is the rugby ball hold. This is great if you’re struggling to get a deep latch or have had a c-section.
I also find this position works well in the evening when my supply has dipped and she’s getting a little frustrated with the slower flow.
Protecting your postnatal peace is so important. Still can’t believe I have 3 kids, when I feel like I was 19 last week…time sure does fly!
Sending love x
