I have been supporting two women through their cosmeticâsurgery rehabilitation with manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) sessions and it is becoming such a rewarding part of my work. Being with them through those early, delicate days and watching their bodies gradually settle and heal shows me every day how much gentle, attentive care can mean during recovery.
Some of the benefits they have felt are:
đRelief as manual lymphatic drainage eases that heavy, uncomfortable swelling
đThe way tissue begins to feel softer and more at ease with each session
đśââď¸The small but important shiftsâmoving more freely, feeling less restricted, and finding a little more comfort each day
đThe trust that grows as they share how theyâre feeling and allow me to support them through each stage
MLD is playing such a supportive role in their healing, but it isnât only for postâsurgery recovery. It can also be a gentle, nurturing part of someoneâs wider health and wellness routine, helping the body feel lighter, calmer, and more balanced.
If youâre curious about how MLD could support you, please drop me a message.
