OSHO Active Meditations

OSHO Active Meditations OSHO Active Meditations — OSHO Dynamic, Kundalini, Nadabrahma Meditation & more. Modern moving meditation methods for restless minds and busy lives. Start today.

Let go of tension, return to your aliveness. Free guides inside. If you want to live a more fulfilled life, first you will want to know your potential, who you really are. Meditation is the route to that knowing. It is the methodology of the science of awareness. The beauty of the inner science is that it enables whoever wants to explore and to experiment within, to do so alone. This eliminates de

pendence on an outer authority, the need to be affiliated with any organization and the obligation to accept a certain ideology. Once you understand the steps, you walk the walk in your own, individual way. Many meditative techniques require one to sit still and silent. But for most of us accumulated stress in our bodymind makes that difficult. Before we can hope to access our inner powerhouse of consciousness, we need to let go of our tensions. Osho Active Meditations have been scientifically designed by Osho over a period of time to enable us to consciously express and experience repressed feelings and emotions, and learn the knack of watching our habitual patterns in a new way. But what is meditation exactly? And how to get started?

We often hear the word "mindfulness" used everywhere today, but what does it actually point to?

Mindfulness is simply awareness.

Buddha used the word sammasati—samyak smriti in Sanskrit—which means balanced, right remembrance.

When translated as mindfulness, the word takes on a new meaning. But true mindfulness has nothing to do with the mind. It simply means you are conscious, alert, and aware.

"Whatsoever you enjoy can go deep in you; only that can go deep in you. The rhythm of it falls in tune with you: there is a subtle harmony between you and the method."

Osho: Only Losers Can Win in This Game, 10

When you find a meditation that brings that subtle harmony, go into it fully and let joy be your guide.

What is the ultimate goal of human life?

We are part of the whole and insiders to the mystery, and the only science to discover it is meditation. Through simple witnessing, watching, and observing your body, thoughts, and emotions, you become separate from them.

When your mind and moods fade away, a quantum leap happens. The witness comes home to itself, bringing that absolute organic unity of consciousness known as moksha, nirvana, liberation, or enlightenment—the ultimate peak and goal of human life.

🌿 Are you trying too hard to be aware?

Sometimes even meditation can become another thing we think we need to get “right.”

But what if awareness comes from the opposite direction? ✨

Osho says:

“If you try to be aware, you are fighting with yourself; there is no need to fight.
Awareness is not a by-product of effort: awareness is a fragrance of let-go: awareness is a flowering of surrender, of relaxation.”

Osho, Philosophia Perennis, Series 2, 4

“Meditation can be reduced into a simple form of witnessing, watching, observing, awareness.” Osho

We are part of the whole and not outsiders; to discover this mystery, the only science is meditation. At its core, meditation is simply witnessing, watching, observing, and awareness.

When you witness your body, thoughts, emotions, and feelings, you instantly become separate from them. Once your mind, body, and moods disappear, a quantum leap happens—the witness comes home, witnessing itself, resulting in that ultimate absolute organic unity known as liberation or enlightenment.

Find the technique that clicks for you and bring this awareness into your daily life.

“Be real to life, not to logic, and then whatsoever you have suppressed will come up, will explode. This is what the active meditation is doing: bringing the suppressed up to be expressed; bringing your tears back to life, bringing your anger, your laughter, your sadness, back to life; throwing everything out of your system so that your system becomes purified, so that your system becomes innocent again. With that innocent system you can contact the divine. This poisoned system cannot have any contact.”

Osho, The Supreme Doctrine, 3

We spend years swallowing everything down—our tears, our anger, even our laughter—until we feel heavy and blocked up. Active meditation isn't about trying to sit still or force calm. It’s a clean-out. It lets you throw out what you've been holding onto so your system can finally return to innocence.

Why Active Meditations?

We carry years of accumulated stress and tension that form a solid wall inside. Trying to sit down and be silent with all that weight doesn't work.

That is why active techniques like OSHO Dynamic and OSHO Kundalini Meditations are necessary. They give you a way to throw out the garbage, release the tension, and clear the path first. Once that wall is gone, you naturally return to an innocent space where true meditation can happen.

“Meditation is not an action. You just wait. Relax and wait. Lie down or sit or stand – as feels good to you – and wait for it. Wait, alert, and soon you will hear the whisperings, the silent steps of something which is coming closer to you.”

— Osho, I Say Unto You, Vol. 2, #6

We treat meditation like another chore to check off—something we have to force or fix. But it's not about doing at all. It’s just dropping the effort and waiting with a quiet, alert presence.

Active techniques are only there to tune the instrument, wake us up from the daily grind, and clear out the accumulated mental clutter. Once the mind rests and is rejuvenated, it becomes fresh, young, and naturally creative.

After that, you just sit relaxedly, keep the window open, stay alert, and then you can just watch.

“Meditation is nothing but trying to clean your being, trying to become fresh and young, trying to become more alive and more alert.”

— Osho

Tired of feeling weighed down by the same old routine and everyday stress?

We tend to think meditation means sitting rigidly and forcing quiet, but it’s really just a way to clean house. When you clear out the mental clutter, you drop the heaviness and actually feel alive, alert, and lighter again.
