Dawn looked great before- But now? She looks strong, healthy, fit, and confident—and that’s the transformation I love to see!

This isn’t always about chasing a smaller number on the scale. Dawn doesn’t even care about the scale. For her It’s about building muscle, losing body fat, improving shape, and creating a body that looks and feels strong, and she has succeeded- but she’s not done yet! 💪🏼🔥

Huge congratulations to Andrea on completing her FIRST competition! 🏆🔥

We originally planned for a 23-week prep, but we ended up getting it done in just 18 weeks—and she absolutely CRUSHED it! 💪🏼

She is a BEAST and followed everything to a T. The dedication, discipline, consistency, and trust she showed throughout this prep were incredible.

This is her progress since she started with me on April 11. A loss of 33 lbs!

She had never done anything like this before and had never competed. During the first two weeks of working with me, she wanted to tell me which foods she wanted to eat. 😂 I pushed back a little, and by week three, she had seen such incredible results that she actually apologized for trying to tell me how to do my job. Haha! It was a pretty funny moment, but it also showed her just how much the right plan can make a difference… and … to trust the process!

When losing 5 lbs looks more like 15 🔥🙌🏼

That’s the power of body composition!

When you’re building muscle while losing body fat, your body can change dramatically without a huge drop on the scale. You can look *smaller, *tighter, *leaner, and *more defined—even when the number doesn’t seem all that impressive.

This is exactly why I tell my clients: DON’T let the scale be your only measure of progress. If you fall victim it will bring you down and often cause you to give up.

I often see people ask how long they should wait before getting ready for the stage, and I’m always surprised when they’re told they need to train for a year or more first (unless they have a significant amount of weight to lose—say 60–70+ pounds).

My perspective is a little different. If you’ve already been training and you’re carrying a moderate amount of body fat, why not prep for a show and see what’s underneath? You may discover you’ve built far more muscle than you realized. And if, once you’re lean, you decide you want to add more size, you can always spend time in a dedicated building phase afterward.

But why wait to find out what you’ve already accomplished? Don’t let others tell you that you need more muscle when you might just already have it.

This transformation began on April 11, and I am absolutely blown away by the shape and muscle that was hiding beneath the body fat. Sometimes the only way to truly see your potential is to reveal it.

When you lose body fat while maintaining—or even building—muscle, the changes are dramatic. The scale may only show a small number, but your physique tells a completely different story.
