🦷🧠 **Could Your Oral Health Be Connected to Brain Health?**

Did you know that researchers are investigating a possible connection between **periodontal disease and Alzheimer’s disease**?

One of the bacteria receiving significant attention is ***Porphyromonas gingivalis***** (P. gingivalis)** — a major bacteria associated with chronic gum disease.

🧠 **What does this mean?**
Research suggests there may be a relationship between chronic periodontal infection, inflammation, and Alzheimer’s disease. However, scientists are still working to determine exactly how much periodontal disease contributes to Alzheimer’s and whether treating gum disease can reduce the risk or progression of dementia.

🦷 **The important takeaway:** Taking care of your gums is about more than keeping your smile healthy. Maintaining good oral hygiene, keeping regular dental visits, and treating periodontal disease may be an important part of protecting your **overall health**.

❤️ **Healthy gums. Healthy body. Healthy life.**

If you have bleeding gums, persistent bad breath, gum recession, or loose teeth, don’t ignore the signs. Talk with your dental professional about your periodontal health.

🎉🎂 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KATHY! 🎂🎉

Help us wish our amazing Office Manager, Kathy, a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 🥳

Kathy keeps the dental office running, the team organized, and somehow manages to keep us all in line… even when we’re trying to avoid another meeting! 😂🦷

When she’s not keeping us in line at the office, you can probably find her gardening, enjoying the great outdoors, traveling, or making memories with her two favorite grandkids! 🌸🌿✈️👦👧

We hope your birthday is filled with flowers, sunshine, adventures, lots of grandkid hugs, and absolutely ZERO work! 😂

Happy Birthday, Kathy! We appreciate everything you do and hope you have the BEST day! ❤️🎉

Now go have Doctor spoil you for the rest of the day!👑🎂
