Pelvic floor therapy can help you move, function and feel better. 💚

At Marshall Ob/Gyn, specialized pelvic floor therapy helps address pelvic floor dysfunction and its impact on everyday life. Care may help with bladder or bowel concerns, pelvic pain, pregnancy and childbirth-related concerns, sexual dysfunction and pelvic organ prolapse.

Your care starts with a thorough evaluation in a private, comfortable setting, followed by a treatment plan tailored to your goals. Treatment may include exercises, manual therapy, biofeedback, relaxation techniques and neuromuscular re-education.

If you're experiencing symptoms that may be related to pelvic floor dysfunction, talk with your provider to see if therapy may be right for you.

Marshall Health Network - Cabell Huntington Hospital has successfully treated West Virginia’s first patient using , a groundbreaking technology that uses focused sound waves to destroy targeted liver tumors without an incision.

The outpatient procedure was performed by Dr. Paul Blom, interventional radiologist with Radiology, Inc., using the Edison® Histotripsy System. The patient was able to return home just hours after the procedure.

The Saturday Morning Sports Medicine Clinic offers free evaluations and assessments for orthopaedic conditions and injuries, with expert guidance on next steps. 🏃‍♀️

📅 Saturdays, Aug. 22-Dec. 19, excluding Labor Day and Thanksgiving weekend

⏰ 8-10 a.m.

📍 Marshall Sports Medicine Institute

The clinic is open to athletes and active people of all ages. No appointment is necessary and patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Treatment is not provided during the evaluation. Imaging and bracing are available for an additional cost. Imaging is offered during the fall season only.
