Strong teams start with investing in people. 💙

Members of the KLC Financial team joined industry peers in Nashville, Tennessee, for ELFA’s Power of People Summit, an opportunity to connect, learn, and explore how we can better support the people who move our industry forward.
From workplace culture and inclusion to mentorship and leading through change, the conversations offered plenty to bring back to KLC. A few takeaways that stood out:

• Culture is shaped by everyday interactions. Listening, recognizing different experiences, and making it safe to speak up help people feel valued and supported.
• Mentorship matters at every career stage. We all have experience to share and room to learn from someone else.
• As the workforce evolves, leadership must evolve with it. Building trust, providing clear direction, and encouraging new ideas can strengthen both connection and accountability.

At KLC, investing in our people helps us grow as a team and better serve our customers, partners, and communities. We’re excited to bring these conversations home and keep learning together.

Thank you to the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association, the speakers, and our industry colleagues for sharing your perspectives and making meaningful connections possible. Nashville was a wonderful backdrop! 🎶

What a great few days at NEFA’s Fall Conference! It was great connecting with so many familiar faces from across the equipment finance industry, including our friends at AmeriFactors. 🤝

We were also proud to have Brett Sorensen represent KLC on the “AI Governance Essentials: Roadmap for Equipment Finance Companies” panel. His perspective added to a thoughtful conversation about how our industry is approaching this quickly evolving technology.

Thank you to everyone who connected with us. We’re already looking forward to the next one!

🌟 Recognizing This Month’s KLC Standouts

Another month, another opportunity to celebrate the people who make KLC what it is. This month, we’re recognizing two team members for the experience, relationships, and dedication they bring to the team.

✨ Employee of the Month – Kim Bechtold-Kee

It’s been a big month for Kim! Along with being named Employee of the Month, she celebrated 8 years with KLC and her birthday. There’s a lot to celebrate!

As our Accounts Payable Lead, Kim is an important part of keeping things moving behind the scenes. Her experience, attention to detail, and willingness to jump in and help make her someone our team can consistently count on. Eight years at KLC is an accomplishment in itself, and we’re grateful for everything Kim has contributed along the way.

Happy work anniversary, happy birthday, and congratulations on Employee of the Month, Kim! 🎉

👏 Sales Person of the Month – Lesley Farmer, CLFP

Another month at the top for Lesley! While her results continue to speak for themselves, a big part of what makes Lesley successful is the relationships she’s built throughout the family entertainment industry.

She’s been especially busy traveling and attending industry events lately, giving her the opportunity to connect face-to-face with park owners and operators she works with and helps finance their attractions, equipment, and growth projects. Being present in the industry and understanding these businesses firsthand allows Lesley to be more than just a financing resource. She truly gets to know the people, their parks, and what they’re working toward.

Congratulations, Kim and Lesley! We’re lucky to have you both on Team KLC. 👏
