💙At Heartland Women’s Group, we spend a lot of time talking with women about taking care of themselves. During Men’s Health Month, we’re also thinking about the people our patients love.💙

The men we love — husbands, dads, brothers, sons, partners and friends — may not always talk about their health, but regular checkups and screenings can make a big difference.

From blood pressure and cholesterol to diabetes risk and cancer screenings, a simple conversation with a doctor can help identify concerns early and support long-term health.

This month, share this reminder with someone you love.

Pregnancy comes with a lot of changes, but some symptoms deserve a closer look.

As we wrap up Preeclampsia Awareness Month, we’re helping moms know the warning signs: severe headaches, changes in vision, swelling in the face or hands, chest pain, shortness of breath, belly pain, nausea or a sudden rise in blood pressure.

Preeclampsia can be serious, but knowing what to watch for can help you get care sooner. If you’re pregnant or recently delivered and something doesn’t feel right, don’t wait it out. Call us or seek emergency care immediately: 316-858-7100.
