🌕 HARVEST FULL MOON · AN EVENING OF DEEP REST
A quiet evening to step away from the noise, soften into stillness, and return to yourself.

Rooted in the ancient wisdom tradition of Yoga Nidra, this is an invitation into profound rest; a space between waking and sleeping where the body and mind can tap into deep awareness.

In this liminal space, we are given the opportunity to pause from the constant doing, restore our energy.

Through Pranayama, Yoga Nidra, sound & voice activation, a gentle release ritual and intention, we’ll create space to listen inward and reconnect with our own inner knowing.

We’ll close with herbal tea and homemade vegan nourishment. 🤍

No experience required.
Come exactly as you are.

Held with care by trauma-informed facilitator .

Limited spaces · Doors close on time

A little mantra song from me to you. 🤍
Repeat after me:
My voice is worthy.
I’ll sing my song.

May we remember that our voices don’t need to be perfect to be worthy of being heard. They are ours. They carry our stories, our truth, our joy, our becoming.

Come home to your voice. 🎶

People often ask me how I became a Singing Mamas leader.
It’s a question I’ve been giving more attention to. It is also a source if much gratitude as this work feels so aligned to me at my core.

It actually began with my childhood friend, Liz Baker. We were best friends in primary school, spending sleepovers listening to music and singing together. We both loved drama and music, but life took us in different directions.
Years later, I saw that Lizzie had become a Singing Mamas leader. I looked into it, and it was an instant lightbulb moment.

Everything about the philosophy resonated. It just made sense.
Soon after, I trained as a leader and began weaving singing into my yoga classes. I could see how deeply it touched people.

Then I started my first Singing Mamas group—with just one mum and a friend. Almost two years later, I’ve now started four groups.

Looking back, it feels like every thread of my life has led me here: motherhood, yoga, teaching, early childhood education, children’s yoga, singing in bands, studying theatre, and a lifelong love of music and community. Singing Mamas is where all those threads come together.

last week , after a session, one mum said to me, “This should be an essential service for all mums.” That stayed with me because she understood exactly what these groups are about.

It’s not about learning to sing, or bettering yourself . It’s about being held while you’re holding everyone else. These groups are about finding connection when motherhood can feel isolating, regulating our nervous systems through our voices, sharing songs with our babies, laughing, crying, breathing, and remembering that we’re not meant to do this alone.

You are not late.
The door is open for you.

You and your voice is worthy and welcome here.

A space to literally just be.

Group singing reminds us that we are not alone. That we were not designed to live or bring up children in separation.

If this strikes a chord- please join us for a free taster.

I came by this garden plot soon after arriving in this beautiful small dwelling . Each year it has reminded me of the seasons, the power of energy in nature, of shakti. Everyone I visit I witness the life and dying, the seeds, the songs of the birds, if you listen, the experience of experimentation, the expansion of gratitude and the healing of getting low to the earth and getting the soil between your toes and fingers.

Please note the dates of sessions offered in July and August at the Eton Studio and Wildfires Bookshop locations. The Trout Lake and Burnaby Tec locations begin in September again.
I’ll be visiting my homeland of UK this July for a wedding. Excited and hopeful to and connect with some members of the organization there. There will also be the joy of global family gathering and uniting.

Looking forward to connecting and singing our songs together soon.

Big Love

One of the bittersweet parts of leading Singing Mamas is watching people come and go as life changes. Returning to work, welcoming new seasons of life, moving… our circles are always gently evolving.

This wonderful mama was a founding member of our New Westminster Wildfires Bookshop group in 2025.
Week after week her voice blended and became part of the circle. With their warmth, harmonies, presence, they have helped shape what this community has become.

Each person who walks through the door leaves their thread woven into a tapestry. Every voice adds colour, texture, strength to the whole.
The tapestry continues to grow carrying little pieces of everyone who has sung with us.

Thank you

❤️
