Reiki” (ray-key) is Japanese for ‘universal life energy, and is also a word used to describe a system of natural healing, This tradition was founded by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century and evolved as a result of his research, experience and dedication. We live in a world of energy that nourishes and maintains all living things. When this energy flows uninterrupted there is balance and harmony

within and around us, and we experience a sense of well being. There are many variations of Reiki, but in essence Reiki treatments can help the body emotionally or spiritually. It is a tradition that is open to any belief system.

~ Full Moon at 9° Sagittarius ~ May 31, 2026 at 1:45 am PDT; 4:45 am EDT; 10:45 am CEST

"This Full Moon is a “once in a blue moon” lunation, as it is the second Full Moon to occur in the same calendar month. A Sagittarius Full Moon can bring the truth to the surface, in no uncertain way! With the Sun in communicative, versatile, curious Gemini and the Moon in expansive, adventurous, philosophical Sagittarius, this is the kind of Moon that can bring an increase in communication and sharing of opinions and beliefs, and can open us up to new experiences and expand our minds and horizons. Sagittarius is the part of us that believes that anything is possible, so we could feel the urge to make a leap of faith during this Moon. Sagittarius can help us to expand beyond situations or ways of being that we have outgrown.

During a Sagittarius Full Moon we could hear truths that shock us to our core, or we could find that our mind is utterly blown and things change so much that it rocks our world and knocks our belief system out of the water! One thing is sure – change is afoot, even if it is merely a complete change of perspective! Ultimately Uranus urges us to be true to ourselves, and its purpose is to liberate us from old, outworn patterns and unhelpful conditioning. It is important to do whatever we can to remain as grounded as possible during this Moon, as we could experience a lot of nervous energy, as there is such a fine line between feeling nervous and feeling excited. Ultimately the Pisces North Node calls for us to trust, surrender and allow.

It does feel like something dramatic could happen, and that it could be an opening, or a gateway that invites us to walk through it. With Uranus and the Nodes involved, it could take us by surprise and bring an opportunity for growth that we may not have foreseen or imagined was possible. That is the nature of Uranus – revelations and realisations can come from left field! This Full Moon certainly could reveal the truth of the matter and help us to recognise what has become too small and limiting for us and to get ready to prepare for our next phase of growth and expansion.

“The sky is the limit!” cries Sagittarius. “Slow down, make a proper plan and make sure you have everything you need.” say Mars in Ta**us, Saturn and Pallas Athena. And all the while, Uranus reminds us to “Expect the unexpected!”

"The Blue Full Moon in Sagittarius invites us to release rigid expectations about how our lives should look, and stay connected to what is true in the moment. This special Full Moon, the second one of the calendar month, reminds us that growth is rarely a straight, predictable path: we are moving in spirals, in cycles of expansion and contraction, and when it looks like we are revisiting old themes, we are deepening our self-awareness and our understanding of what is truly at play.

On this Blue Full Moon, the Gemini-Sagittarius polarity is in the spotlight: this is the axis of learning, through which we attribute meaning to our experiences and understand the reality that surrounds us. These days, we feel hungry for meaning and purpose, and we feel a strong need to create a life that reflects and honors our authenticity and the way we have changed. This event is asking us to release outdated beliefs and ways of thinking and open up to unexplored paths and possibilities we haven’t considered before.

This Moon arrives with revelations about the path we are on, the beliefs we have outgrown, and the version of ourselves that’s asking to emerge and breakthrough. Sudden realizations and insights could help us access clarity about something we have been questioning: the invitation for us these days is to temporarily step away from the immediacy of our feelings to access a wider perspective of our lives and recognize any changes that need to be made.

We have a chance to witness how far we have come and reach more clarity about the meaning of everything that took place throughout the calendar month. On this Blue Full Moon in Sagittarius, we are invited to step back and strive to see the bigger picture of our lives. We have an opportunity to recognize where we lost touch with our authenticity and choose to follow the desires of our hearts. This lunation reminds us that growth is not linear and asks us to trust the path that is revealing itself as we walk it."

"The Full Moon is opposite Uranus in Gemini, trine Saturn and Neptune in Aries, and sextile Pluto in Aquarius. This Full Moon connects all the outer planets into a rare, coherent configuration that will come to expose, in the way only a Full Moon in Sagittarius does – the truth of the matter.

At its core, Sagittarius is about trying to find a sense of coherence – the “big picture”, a governing principle that ties it all together. And this process cannot be rushed. It is a deeper knowing that only emerges when everything falls into place, into what feels like an effortless choreography. Our relationship with this Sagittarius principle reveals whether we live our life with integrity – in alignment with our own personal truth – or not.

We may find ourselves in what feels like a completely different place, even if it’s the same living room, the same commute, or the same life. When our perspective shifts, we stop reacting from where we’ve been, and start recognizing what’s actually calling us forward. It is the moment when we can finally say: “This is it“."

"The Full Moon is in close quincunx aspect to Mars in Ta**us, indicating the need for an attitude adjustment if we are overly attached to beliefs that no longer serve us. Luna is also closely sesquiquadrate Jupiter in Cancer, so people could be very self-righteous, judgmental, and protective of their beliefs.

However, the Moon will be in harmonious trine aspect to both Saturn and Neptune at the time of the lunation; while these aspects tell us that more of the Great Unraveling will be underway, we will find it easier to release what needs to go and will also have the internal strength to initiate the new. And, Luna's close trine to the asteroid Pallas Athena in Aries will help us to brainstorm new creative ideas and to courageously strategize our next steps.

Aspects at the Full Moon:
~ Sun sextile Pallas Athena: Insights and ideas flow more easily, making this a good day for brainstorming and planning.
~ Mercury sextile Chiron: We are more sensitive to our own and others' need to be heard today.
~ Sun semisquare Eris: Some may be easily irritated today, especially if they feel that their ideas are not being respected."

"Sunday's Full Moon in Sagittarius helps bring forth a sense of abundant hope and a renewal of vision -- and with the support of Saturn, there's a real sense that a new path is beginning to take shape.

~ This is the sky asking: how has your understanding of your future potential expanded?
~ What truth have you realized?

Sagittarius is the sign of the seeker — of philosophy, long journeys, and the kind of knowing that lives in the body rather than the head. The Sun in Gemini illuminates curiosity while the Sagittarius Full Moon synthesizes it into meaning. You may feel the tension between gathering more information and simply knowing the truth of the matter. The invitation here is not to resolve that tension but to honor both — and to let the emotional body catch up with wherever the mind has already traveled.

This signifies that an intention is coming into fruition. Not simply an adventurous one, but a meaningful one."

"Also known as a Blue Moon, this is the second full moon within the same month, a rare and infrequent occurrence. A full moon is always a time to reflect on what you need to release and it can shed a bright light on what needs to happen for you to move to the next step on your path. There are other influences around this full moon that suggest some unexpected situations could occur creating a need for flexibility, responsibility and deep healing.

The best approach to this Full Moon is to be open and accepting and willing to look at and tell the truth about whatever it is that you are processing in your life and whatever life lessons you are learning or completing at this time. What can you truly let go of that no longer serves and is only in your way of moving forward? Think of old resentments, old patterns, regrets, shame, guilt and bad habits as areas to recapitulate and release.

This time frame offers a great opportunity for a huge reset if you are ready to embrace it. This may not come easily and may require moving through some hardship and discomfort but will be worthwhile in the end. It is helpful to be physically active to help move the energy as well as to be inspired by something of beauty. Let the emotions flow as a cleaning and clearing of your spirit much like washing your windows in order to see more clearly. To anchor symbolically this clearing you may be inspired to clean and clear something in your physical environment. Do it with the intention that it represents a personal emotional clearing and reset."

Today is Imbolc which is celebrated February 1st/2nd. Imbolc is pronounced 'im'olk this is the first of 8 Pagan holidays throughout the year called Sabbats. Imbolc comes from the old Irish name Imbolg which means 'in the belly', meaning sowing the first seeds into the earth. Imbolc is a time to acknowledge the First Spark of Spring, the embedded energies that have been sleeping over the winter. The seeds that are underground acknowledge the returning energy and will begin to convert it to life deep within. Underground and unseen by man they will start to make their way to the surface and break through the soil and begin to bud.

Even though it is still the dead of winter and feels like winter in most places, the Sun's energy has been returning ever since the Winter Solstice (longest night of the year, Yule)

On Imbolc we celebrate the first days of Spring, snowdrops and crocuses begin to appear, things become very spring-like with daffodils, daisies and hyacinths coming early. Animals begin to wake from their winter hibernation. Nights get shorter and days will get longer and it will start to get warmer as winter snow and frost begin to thaw.

We celebrate the rebirth of the Goddess on Imbolc after she sacrificed herself on Yule to give birth to the Sun God. Both the God and Goddess are young, the triple Goddess is in her maiden form and gains strength from the earth, while the Sun God will grow in strength over the coming months.

Imbolc is a Celtic fire festival, where in ancient times most towns and villages would build a ceremonial bonfire. The Goddess Brigid, the Goddess of fire, healing and fertility is worshipped on this day. The lighting of fires celebrated the increasing power of the Sun. The Goddess Brigid was so much loved by the Celts that when the Christians were converting Pagans they could not change the holiday of Imbolc so the holiday was reformed and renamed to 'Candlemas' when candles are lit to remember the purification of the Virgin Mary, and they changed the Goddess Brigid into Saint Brigid.

Imbolc is a fire festival, it is the ending of Winter and the beginning of Spring. To celebrate Imbolc, light a fire, it may only be a very small one and make wishes for the coming year into the flames. Burn any leftover evergreens that were decorating your home at Yule. Clean your homes of clutter that was gathered over the Yuletide and get rid of the old and bring in the new. Plant seeds for them to bloom in the Spring and Summer. Use a sage smudge stick or incense to cleanse your home of stale or unwanted negative energies.

It is customary to make a Corn Dolly on Imbolc, this represents the Goddess, who will watch over you and your home throughout Spring and Summer. It is also traditional to make a Brigid Cross or Sun Cross on Imbolc, this is a cross woven traditionally from reeds but can be made with anything such as wheat, straw or paper and put them around your home to bring luck and protection for the coming year. Fill your alter with lit white candles and leave them to carefully burn through the day. Add any blooming flowers such as snowdrops, crocuses, daffodils or daisies and anything yellow, orange, gold or silver to honour the Sun God.

Imbolc is a time of contemplation, to think about the year that has past and the mistakes or successes we have had and what we have learned from them to help us achieve our goals, dreams and ambitions for the coming year. As well as planting seeds to grow in the earth also plant seeds and ideas in your mind to grow and blossom over the coming months.

Have a blessed Imbolc, May the God and Goddess watch over you.
