Hi everyone. I'm taking part in the 90 Miles in October Challenge to raise money for Mind, in memory of my sweet grandmother Moz 🤍 ..some of you may have known her from the Carmarthen area ☺️
Almost nearing the end now and I have loved every minute, especially those spent reminiscing over cherished memories ❤️

Mental health and wellbeing is something very close to my heart, both personally and professionally, as I know it is for so many of us. I’m very passionate about psychoeducation and the role it can play in helping people better understand themselves, their emotions, behaviour and each other. Mind is such a fantastic charity that supports people in so many different ways and works tirelessly to break down the stigma that can surround mental health. Charities like Mind can often fill a huge gap within the wider mental health landscape, which is why I feel it's important to champion them and raise awareness.
For those who knew and loved her, Moz’s kindness, gentle presence and wisdom will always live on. She gave so much of herself to others throughout her life and was particularly dedicated to working with and supporting mental health charities along the way. Moz herself worked with Mind for many years and was also involved with other care/support organisations and advocacy work. Helping and caring for others was simply part of who she was. She was a true warrior. This challenge is a small way of honouring her legacy and everything she embodied 🪽
She also loved a good ramble, both in the walking and talking sense 😂 ..so I’m sure she’ll be with me every step of the way in all her grace. If anyone would like to join me for some steps, please feel free to message 👣
This work matters enormously. Mental health touches all of our lives in different ways and Mind’s work is incredibly valuable. They provide expert information, advice and access to resources, whilst continuously campaigning for improved services all round. One step at a time ✌️
