Summer was fun, but whew… we all forgot how to have a routine. 😂

With the kids back in school, I’ve been trying to get our whole family organized again, and the Hearth Display has made it so much easier to keep everyone’s schedules, routines, chores and all the little things I’m usually trying to remember in one place.

It’s basically become our family command center, and I especially love having something the kids can actually see and use themselves instead of everything living in my head. 🙌🏻

If you’ve been looking for a digital family calendar or just need a little help getting everyone back into a routine, I linked ours here! 🤍

The perfect Lemon cake for your next girl therapy session 🍋

Here’s the recipe if you want to save it for later:

For the cake:
1/2 cup butter (softened)
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
Zest of 2 lemons
2–3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 350. Cream the butter and sugar, then add eggs, vanilla, lemon juice, and zest. In a separate bowl, whisk the dry ingredients. Alternate adding the dry ingredients and milk into the batter. Bake in a greased pan for 30–35 minutes, until set. Let it cool completely.

For the frosting:
1/2 cup butter (softened)
2 cups powdered sugar
1–2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
Pinch of salt

Beat until smooth and spreadable, then frost the cooled cake. I like to add a little extra lemon zest on top. And fresh lemon slices & peppermint leaves for some extra whimsy ✨

Save this for later or send it to someone you’d bake this with 🤍

I feel like most of us were taught to focus on products for our hair… but not what’s going on underneath it.

Hair growth is actually really connected to things like:
oxidative stress
nutrient levels
and how well your body is able to support new growth

When those are off, it can show up as:
more shedding
slower growth
thinner feeling hair

That’s why I started being more intentional about supporting things from the inside too.

This is a super high-antioxidant drink (wolfberries are a big part of it) and it’s something I come back to anytime my hair needs extra support.

It’s not instant, but over time I notice:
less hair falling out
stronger strands
and new growth coming in

If you’re in a season where your hair just isn’t what it used to be, it might be something to look into.

I’ll drop the link in the comments 🤍
