Learning Session: Master Streaming Platforms & Accessibility Features

Whether you want to catch up on classic movies, stream local shows, or explore fascinating documentaries, streaming platforms like Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Paramount Plus and Apple TV put thousands of options right at your fingertips. But navigating smart TV menus, remotes, and audio settings can sometimes feel tricky.
Join us for a hands-on presentation designed specifically for our EmpowerNL community!

What We’ll Cover Together:
📺Navigating Sign-On and App Download: Showing how to download the various apps onto your smart TVs/Firestick/Smartphones/Tablets/Laptops. We will also show how to log in to your app.
📺Simple Navigation: How to search for your favourite shows, manage watchlists, and cut through menu clutter.
📺Closed Captions & Subtitles: How to make text larger, clearer, and easier to read.
📺Audio Descriptions (AD): How narrators describe visual scenes for low-vision or relaxed viewing.
📺Dialogue Enhancement & Voice Remotes: Simple tweaks to make speech crisp without turning the volume up to maximum.
