Lots of people join House of Breath through the Gentle Breath Circle. Many arrive feeling a little apprehensive about what might unfold - and that’s completely normal. Whenever we begin something new or step into an unfamiliar space, our brains are naturally wired to be curious about our safety.

What often surprises people is how gentle the experience can be.

Here are just a few reflections from the House of Breath community:
“Beautiful and so calm.”
“Fai led us through a gentle connected breathwork session, a beautiful visualisation and allowed us space to rest and relax.”
“Comfortable.”
“Accessible.”
“Choice-led.”
“Gentle enough to meet the body where it is.”
“There are people who feel like medicine. Fai is one of them.”
“What makes Fai extraordinary is the space she holds. She is steady. She is grounded. She is the anchor.”

The Gentle Breath Circle offers a softer introduction to what becomes possible when you begin working with the breath - without pressure, force or expectation.
You’re guided throughout, with options available at every stage. A place to begin gently.

This month includes:

• The Gentle Breath Circle - a soft introduction to Conscious Connected Breathwork, blending breath, sound and somatic practices.

• Return to Regulation - a deeper, trauma-informed journey supporting nervous system regulation through breath and embodied practice.

• Resting Hour - an hour to pause, unwind, and restore through gentle breathwork, sound and stillness.

• The Collective - Fai’s Functional Breath Series, building stronger breathing foundations through the principles of Oxygen Advantage.

We’d love to welcome you into the space.

Pain doesn’t just affect the body. It changes the way we breathe. When the body perceives discomfort or threat, breathing often becomes faster, shallower, and more reactive. The nervous system stays alert. Muscles tighten. Tension increases.

Over time, this can become a cycle the body begins to live inside of -even long after the original stress, injury, or pain has passed.

This is one of the reasons breathwork can become such an important part of recovery and regulation.
Not because breathing “fixes” pain, but because the nervous system responds to safety.

When breath slows, softens, and becomes more functional, the body receives a different signal. One that allows tension to reduce, recovery to improve, and the system to move out of constant protection mode. The body learns through repetition.
And sometimes, regulation is what begins to interrupt the cycle.

House of Breath has always been created with intention.

Most people come once and expect everything to change.
And something often does shift.
But one session isn’t the work, it’s the introduction.
Because this isn’t something you receive, it’s something you learn.
Regulating your nervous system, understanding your breath, building awareness in the body - these are skills.
And like any skill, they take consistency.
You wouldn’t go to the gym once and expect results.
This is no different.

The real shift comes from showing up, again and again, until the work becomes your own.

our breath is one of the only things that’s always with you.

It’s your life force and yet we have never considered it’s force, function or form and how this impacts our life experience and day to day health.
But for most people, it doesn’t feel like something they can rely on. It feels shallow. Disconnected. Automatic.

This work is about changing that.
Not controlling the breath.
Not forcing calm.
But learning how to work with it - so it becomes something that supports you.
Steady. Available. Yours.

If you’re curious to experience this in practice, you’re welcome to join a session or reach out to learn more.

A lot of people discover this work slowly.
Watching from a distance.
Reading the posts.
Feeling curious, but not quite ready to book a session yet.
You don’t have to dive straight in.
That’s exactly why House of Breath offers small/ intimate group circles and open studio sessions throughout the month - gentle ways to come into the space without pressure or expectation.
Open Studio is simply a chance to arrive, sit on a mat, have a conversation, ask questions, and get a feel for the studio and the work itself.
No commitment.
No pressure to perform.
Just space to explore whether it feels right for you.
For others, booking onto a circle can be a beautiful first step too - allowing you to experience the work in a supported and accessible way alongside others.
Sometimes the hardest part is simply walking through the door for the first time.
Everything after that tends to unfold naturally.

Most people don’t think about how they breathe - until something feels off.

The tension. The tiredness. The busy mind.
But often, these aren’t separate issues. They’re patterns.

And your breath is quietly shaping all of them.
Not just in moments of stress but in how your body functions, recovers, and regulates every day.

This work isn’t about forcing or fixing the breath.
It’s about understanding how it’s currently working,
and allowing your body to respond differently over time.

If you’re curious to explore your own patterns, you’re always welcome to come and experience the work.
