Have you tried a new workout, tried a new move, or tried any new physical skill, and felt... awkward? Of course, we all have!

See, as adults, we like to be good at things, we like to feel competent and even confident. So, when we try a new skill and feel uncoordinated, we too quickly think, "I guess this just isn't for me." But with practice (and patience!), we overcome those hurdles and get the hang of it.

Centergy’s yoga and Pilates, balance and breath, hit all the right notes as we prepare to wrap Film Fest. Melanie, Sara, and Beth emphasized Centergy energy, intention from head to toe, especially in the legs and arms, because the OCT26 workout zeros in on long levers and lots of legs. It’s a workout that can be mulled over and mastered over repeated experiences, so we’ll see you on the mat as we lengthen and strengthen together.

If you came to Film Fest for a friendly Fight, Megan and the two Mikes (LaPlaca and Gallo) came to deliver. In a fun, fierce, ferocious 60 minutes, we trained like mixed martial artists to improve our cardio fitness and total-body strength. OCT26 packed an extra punch with a descending ladder at the end of every working track and Meg’s birthday, for a (ding ding ding!) especially sweaty, special occasion.

Hello from some heavy lifting in Group Power rehearsal with Cathy, AJ & Mike.

OCT26 is an all-increased Weight Factor workout, meaning we’ll be loading up and discovering some PRs, clearing some racks, maxing out some bars, and getting stronger – way stronger – with every Power workout.

But wait! Objects in these rehearsal shots may (definitely) appear heavier in filming. Power Presenters intentionally lift lighter at dress, to be ready to haul personal bests on filming day. We'll add footage of filming in the comments! (We know…what?!?!) 🏋🏽‍♂️🏋🏽‍♂️🏋🏽‍♂️

No “warm” welcomes here, just a spicy, hot, blazing invitation to OCT26 Blast filming! Charli, Megan, and Mike warned us: we’d cover every square inch of our space on, off, and all around the step. And way above the step! They served athletic training (yes, box jumps!), walking, running, and jumping in every direction and dimension. So fun, so tough, so sweaty, and a full team training experience that you’ll have to feel to believe.

Music moves every Groove, but… can we play favorites this Film Fest? The OCT26 soundtrack rocked us, (body) rolled us, dropped us, lifted us, and spiced and sauced us. With Kelly, Leslie, and Aaron, we covered every inch of the dance floor, using every beat to bring the sweat and sass. It’s Ride filming day and we’re ready for our speeding ticket. The OCT26 workout is all about dynamic speed changes, like ramps (gradual increases), hard speed changes (exactly what they sound like, hitting the gas), and speed surges, which is fast-lane, fast-as-you-can-go. We’re heading into Monday more mobile and confident after the smooth moves of OCT26 MOVE30 filming! Suzy, Regina, and Jill, thanks for making us better inclined to train essential movements, using the ramped step to challenge our low bodies in new ways.

Dipping into the fountain of youth (a.k.a. the mobility squat), using the ViPR to train and stabilize, we can’t wait to use our improved fundamentals for whatever fun lies ahead!
